- Get your pick of room time slots over club member shows
- Be featured on StickyBeak.club website and on @stickybeakclub on Instagram
- Promote your club in Sticky Beak rooms to grow your club too!
- FUN! We have fun together — we are a team and we support one another!
💍 What you commit to as a moderator of a Sticky Beak Club Hosted Room:
- Support 2+ rooms each week that you are not personally hosting or co-hosting
- Provide shout-outs to other moderators who join and support your room and if the format of your room allows it, offer moderators the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves at the beginning, middle or end of the room. Intros should be 15 seconds or less.
- Provide clear room rules to those supporting and attending your room so everyone has an awesome experience. Will you be going in PTR order? Popcorn style? Will you be bringing people up and leaving them on stage, or putting them back in the audience. Communication is key to keeping the room healthy.
- Offer periodic room resets (~every 15-20 minutes) that feature the Sticky Beak club and ask people to become members / follow moderators / visit StickyBeak.club to check out our calendar or even set up their own Sticky Beak hosted room at StickyBeak.club/events
- Communicate efficiently and control the rooms you run
- Cancel or reschedule rooms as needed, informing the administrative team so they can be removed from the calendar or rescheduled
- End the rooms you start (some have been forgetting this)
👣 9 Steps To Host A Successful Room In Sticky Beak Club!
- Follow all Sticky Beak Moderators: Get to know your Sticky Beak Moderators! They will help you run a more successful room just by being on stage with you. Give them the “green bean” so they can support your room. Set your notification bell to “always” for your favorite mods, as they’re often in interesting rooms…
See moderator list below with @clubhousehandles and time zone locations - Co-Moderator guideline: We suggest you moderate at least one other person in your room that you trust to help you run the room. Ideally you will have 2-4 co-mods to help grow your room. If you do not have another person nominated to be your partner moderator, you can ask for one or more from the Sticky Beak moderator crew (see list on page 2) when you complete your event request at StickyBeak.club/events
- Edit / Reschedule / Cancel your scheduled room: Once your event is on the calendar you have the ability to edit, reschedule or cancel your event. You can add co-moderators at this stage as well! Just make sure they know not to remove any of the other moderators (especially Sticky Beak) from your event — or your event will not open in the Sticky Beak Club. If Sticky Beak moderators are removed your event will only appear in the general hallway which will reduce the impact of your event and you won’t get the added benefit of our club audience of 10K+ members.
- Share the love: Provide shout-outs to Sticky Beak moderators who join and support your room. Offer them the opportunity to briefly introduce themselves at the beginning, middle or end of the room as your room flow allows. Intros will be 15 seconds or less.
- Room rules: Communication is key to keeping the room healthy. Provide clear room rules to those supporting and attending your room so everyone has an awesome experience. Will you be going in pull-to-refresh (PTR) order? Popcorn style with mic-flashes? Will you be bringing people up and leaving them on stage, or putting them back in the audience?
- Reset the room: Offer periodic room resets (~every 15-20 minutes) that feature the Sticky Beak club and ask people to become members of the Sticky Beak Club / follow moderators / visit StickyBeak.club to check out our calendar or even set up their own Sticky Beak hosted room at StickyBeak.club/events
- You lead the room! You are the master of the rooms you run. If you feel the room is getting a little out of control, reset the room and you can always mute those on your stage or move them to the audience if they’re disruptive.
- Don’t block people: While it can be tempting to block trolls, it’s not advisable to do so. You won’t be able to see rooms that they are in — and they might be in a room you want join. It’s best to simply eject them from the stage and not invite them back up. If you click on their profile picture you can quickly move them to the audience. You can also click on their pic, then the 3 dots at the top right of their profile and click “remove and report” any This will remove them from the room and provide you the opportunity to report any nefarious activity. If they behave badly, they will eventually lose access to Clubhouse.
- End the rooms you start when you’re done: You do this by clicking the three dots at the top right of your screen and selecting “end room”. If you don’t end the room, whomever is left in the room will end up the moderator and could hijack the room for their own use if they want to.
