β Tell us about yourself
I’m a Kitchen and Bath Designer who happens to be a Registered Architect. Not only do I design kitchens and baths for your residences but also for multi-family tenant spaces, hospitality, AirBnb, restaurants, etc.
β What is an interesting fact about yourself?
I own a brick and mortar boutique showroom which allows me to meet all kinds of interesting people when I’m not in front of my computer designing!
β How did you first find out about Clubhouse?
I started hearing about it on Facebook and I openly asked if any of my colleagues can give me an invitation to join Clubhouse.
β What do you love most about being a part of Sticky Beak Club?
Once I started Clubhouse, I was a little timid about using it. After a month of inactivity, I decided to start slow and hop on to a ‘Networking’ room and that is how I found Sticky Beak. I found myself being a mod as soon as I entered! Since then, I became a regular and I found really meaningful connections in the Sticky Beak Club. I truly enjoy being part of this wonderful community of good people all around the world! Where else can you find that?
β What is your favorite other club on Clubhouse, and why?
I have a few clubs on Clubhouse I often visit because I have many personal and professional interests. I like Designers Talk because of the openness and authentic conversations about the design industry, I like In The Shop where I get to meet professionals and artisans in the trade and also any club where I can find my Filipino peeps where I can talk about food and learn and practice Tagalog!
β Who is your favorite person on Clubhouse and why?
Who is my favorite person on Clubhouse? That is like asking who is my favorite child!!!
β If you host a room on Clubhouse – tell us more about it!
Right now, I am hosting a room under Sticky Beak and it is open every Friday at noon EST (New York time). It is constantly evolving but the main idea is All Things Kitchen Design. But sometimes, really, more often than not, it will talk about how to increase your property value with the right design decisions.
β What tip would you share with people who are new to Clubhouse?
The best advice I can give to newbies on Clubhouse is to not be afraid to speak and raise your hand. Push yourself to be on that stage. If you do not have any value to add to the conversation, then ask a question that could produce an answer that will not only benefit you but will also benefit others.
β What resonates most about π¦Australia for you?
Let me get back to you on that…although, I have to say, I want to visit there soon!
β If there is one thing Sticky Beak could do to improve what would it be?
I wish that there’s a clickable function under Sticky Beak on the scheduled rooms in a bullet format (weekly) instead of swiping left to right and only seeing one room at a time.
β If there was one thing Clubhouse could do to improve what would that be?
Protect the rooms so that moderators can’t just end rooms randomly.
